Scalable Quantum Computing with Photon-Connected Spin Qubits on Photonic Chips
Abstract
Scaling fault-tolerant quantum computers requires high-fidelity connectivity without hardware complexity becoming the bottleneck. NVision is developing a photon-connected spin-qubit architecture in which rationally designed organic molecules combine long-lived nuclear-spin memories with optically active electron spins. Deposited as thin films directly onto photonic integrated circuits, these molecular qubits are designed for optical connectivity from the outset. By combining molecular quantum systems with scalable photonic switching and established semiconductor manufacturing processes, the architecture offers a path toward QPUs integrating tens of thousands of qubits on a single chip. This talk presents the architecture, key experimental advances, and practical roadmap toward large-scale systems.
