Dr. Daniel Crow
Designing neutral atom quantum processors
Abstract
Neutral atom hardware has demonstrated rapid improvement in the past few years, and neutral atoms have emerged as an extremely promising platform for fault-tolerant quantum computing. This talk will begin with an overview of Atom Computing's current-generation hardware and a presentation of recent results demonstrating fault-tolerant quantum memories using schemes tailored to that hardware. We will then discuss the future of fault-tolerant computation using neutral atoms, focusing first on near-term advancements. Lastly, we will address long-term directions for neutral atom hardware and how to approach the challenges of designing such systems.
