Arrays of Josephson gadgets
Abstract
In this talk I will generalize the study of 2D Josephson junction arrays to consider arrays of superconducting elements more complicated than simple Josephson junctions, consisting of multi-junction elements and matrices. The short menu of superconductor or insulator is expanded to new ground states and quantum phase transitions.
Independing control of Josephson coupling and flux is facilitatied by superconductor-semiconductor hybrid materials.
